If you receive another motorhome, it's one of the same category: a motorhome you can drive on a car licence, at the same price. If we can't provide one, we refund everything you've paid for the rental and any pre-paid extras.

If something matters to you, such as two separate beds at the back, tell us when you book.

How you'll sleep: 4 berths

Four people sleep on board without turning the lounge into a bed: two in the single beds at the back and two in the drop-down double at the front.

Two single beds at the back

80 × 202.5 cm and 80 × 210 cm · for 2 adults

Each of you has your own bed, so whoever gets up early, or in the night, doesn't climb over anyone. Prefer to share? Ask when you book and we'll fit the extension cushion, free of charge, to join them into one 140 × 220 cm double.

Drop-down double bed at the front

121.5 × 200 cm · maximum load 300 kg · for 2 adults or children

It comes down from above the cab at night and goes back up in the morning, so the lounge is ready for breakfast without moving a single cushion.

Travelling

5 seats with seatbelts, including the driver. Five can travel; four adults sleep on board.

Daily prices are for the motorhome. Everything you might pay on top is listed below, so there are no surprises at pick-up.

Booking and payment

Deposit

    The undisputed part within 2 business days of return. If something needs checking (damage, missing items, repair quotes), we may hold that part for up to 8 business days.

Drivers and insurance

  • Drivers
    At least 21, with a valid licence for the vehicle category. Bring your passport or ID and licence. An International Driving Permit may be needed if your licence isn't in Latin characters. Additional drivers are free.
  • Insurance
    Comprehensive (KASKO) cover with INTERSIG Vienna Insurance Group
  • Your share if there's a covered incident
    10% of the covered cost, plus a 10,000 Lek claim handling fee (29,000 Lek on an approved trip abroad)
  • Not covered by insurance
    Tyres and wheels, keys, interior damage and stains, damage caused by pets, off-road and beach driving, and personal belongings. These are at your cost.

On the road

  • Mileage
    200 km a day included (e.g. 600 km for 3 days). Extra: 5,000 Lek for every additional 200 km or part of it.
  • Where you can drive
    Albania. Travel abroad only with our written approval and an insurance extension, arranged before you leave.
  • Fuel
    Pick it up full, bring it back full. Otherwise we charge the fuel plus a 2,000 Lek service fee, or you can pre-pay a full tank at pick-up and return it at any level.

Cleaning, smoking and pets

    3,000 Lek, paid at return or deducted from the deposit. +5,000 Lek if the toilet tank isn't emptied.
  • Smoking and vaping
    Not allowed inside. If found: 7,000 Lek on top of the cleaning fee.
  • Pets
    Only if approved in writing in your booking confirmation

Cancellations and changes

  • Cancel more than 30 days before pick-up
    Reservation fee refunded (minus any bank transfer charges)
  • Cancel within 30 days of pick-up
    Reservation fee kept
  • Shorten your trip
    Free more than 30 days before pick-up. Within 30 days, the original price stays due.
  • Move your dates
    Possible at our discretion, subject to availability. The 30-day rule always counts from your original pick-up date.
  • Return early
    The full agreed price stays due, unless we can re-rent the motorhome for those days

How to book

Choose your dates and pick-up point

You'll see the full price for your dates, plus any extras, before you pay anything.

Pay the 30,000 Lek reservation fee by bank transfer

That's all you pay now; it comes off your total. Paying from abroad? You don't need Lek: your bank converts the amount. Choose the "OUR" option so the full 30,000 Lek arrives. The rest, and the 100,000 Lek deposit, are paid when you collect the motorhome, by cash, card or bank transfer.

Frequently asked questions about Era

Can I drive it on a normal car licence?

Yes. Era's maximum authorised weight is 3,500 kg, the limit for a standard car licence (category B). Drivers must be at least 21; under-25s and drivers with a licence held for less than 3 years are welcome, with a 200,000 Lek deposit instead of 100,000 Lek. Additional drivers are free.

Is it manual or automatic?

Manual: a 6-speed gearbox on a 130 PS Ford Transit diesel.

Can five of us travel and sleep in it?

Five can travel, each with a seatbelt, but Era sleeps four adults: two in the single beds at the back and two in the drop-down double at the front.

What's included, and what do we need to bring?

Bedding, towels, kitchenware, two gas bottles and outdoor camping gear (table and chairs, mat, levelling ramps, shovel and axe) are included, so you only need your clothes and personal things. Bikes and beach gear are available as extras.

Can the two rear beds become a double?

Yes, free of charge. Ask when you book and we'll fit the extension cushion: the two singles become one 140 × 220 cm double.

Can we pick it up at Tirana Airport?

Yes. You can collect and return Era in Berat, at any time of day, or at Tirana Airport between 09:00 and 18:00. Outside those hours, book an out-of-hours slot online. Any pick-up, shuttle or out-of-hours fee is shown when you book.

Do we have to stay at campsites?

No. Free camping is the way most people travel with a motorhome in Albania, and you can stop overnight outside campsites. Follow local signs, and leave each place as you found it.

How does the deposit work?

It's 100,000 Lek (200,000 Lek for drivers under 25, newer licence holders or approved trips abroad), paid before handover by cash, card or bank transfer. We return the undisputed part within 2 business days of return; anything that needs checking can be held for up to 8 business days. The deposit isn't a limit on what you could owe if damage costs more.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Cancel more than 30 days before pick-up and we refund the 30,000 Lek reservation fee, minus any bank transfer charges. Within 30 days of pick-up, the fee is kept. Tell us in writing, by email or WhatsApp.

Can I take the motorhome outside Albania?

Only with our written approval, arranged before you leave. We extend the insurance to the countries you're visiting, the deposit becomes 200,000 Lek, and you take care of vignettes, tolls and border documents. Tell us your route when you book.
